An indie team that is seven years old? SINCE WHEN?!

The Internet Disagrees formed when Josh Groban's charity management team contacted team member Leah Evans who had previously been challenging the singer to a fight at one of her shows. Leah was taking a break from improv so she stood up at work and announced she needed to make an emergency team. A few people, to varying degrees of experience, responded that they'd do it and so a team was formed.

Their team name was decided when, after putting up a poll on Facebook, a team member's professor from college responded "All of these names are terrible" to which Leah declared "The Internet Disagrees, sir!". The professor then stated: "Now THAT'S a good team name!"

Shortly after they held auditions where the team members went undercover as a stage manager, director, and fellow auditioners. This, and a few shows after, led to the completion of their team. With team members from PIT, UCB, Improv News, Magnet, Second City, and Nowhere at all while, usually averaging 10-20 shows a month pre-pandemic. Now, they still play together because they actually (can ya believe?!) like each other.
